Your Start-Up Site - What You Get

The basic minimum recommended site is a 3-page Website containing:

Home Page
Products/Services Page

Contacts Page

Your Website Pages will contain:

Your Business Name and Logo
A Welcome Message
A Description of Your Business
Hot Links to Products/Services on other pages
Descriptions of your Products/Services
Your Photographs and Images
Your postal and e-mail address details
Your telephone numbers

And remember, more pages can be easily added when you need them.

Your Home Page

Your Business Name and Logo
We will scan your Business Name and Logo from your samples, or you can e-mail us the images. If required, we will change the colour and the font face for these, or make other alterations to make them more prominent.
A Welcome Message
A message of your choice, or we can compose one for you.
A Description of Your Business
You would probably like to write this yourselves, but we can copy material from your brochures or advertisements, and suggest changes to make this more web-oriented.
A Description of Your Products or Services
Once again, we can copy this from your supplied samples or alter material at your request.
Your Photographs and Images
We can add your photographs and/or graphics (upto 6) to the site, manipulating and enhancing the images to suit the web page. We can also add graphics supplied by you in electronic or paper format. You may also select upto 4 graphics from our "Graphics" page for use on your site. The watermarks will be removed before inclusion.
Hot Links to Products/Services on other pages
If you would like to offer your customers a short route to specific items on another page we can add links to this page, either in the normal text or in the right margin. Graphics can also be inserted in the margin which will link directly to the required items.

Your Products/Services Page

This page will contain the details of your products and services, with graphics or photographs as required. The layout of the page can be designed by us or done according to your instructions. There are several possible formats - please see our Formats Guide - if you need some help in deciding on a format.

We can also add "Go to Top" buttons at regular intervals to allow your customers to go back directly to the top of the page without scrolling. The right margin can also be used for text or graphic links to special items, to save your customers the trouble of reading the entire list.

Your Contacts Page

On this page we will include, as required:

Your Business Address
Names of your employee/department contacts
E-mail addresses of contacts
(Clicking on the above will bring up your e-mail client (Outlook etc) with the "To" and "From" addresses entered.)
Pre-filled e-mail "Subject" line, if required, appropriate to the address (Enquiries, Info, Accounts etc).
Pre-filled e-mail body text, if required. e.g. "Description of Item", "Mailing Address",etc., so that your customers can just add the details. (Please note: this is NOT a form, just pre-inserted text in the e-mail body.)

We also do other sites, from a one-page pro-tem site to give you an immediate web presence (but which should be enlarged at the first available opportunity) to a multi-page site with pop-up product details and links and articles pages. We can also add PayPal to your site if the number of items requiring links is not excessive. We shall soon have database facilities for the larger sites and will let you know when this is available. Please note: A maximum of 250 lines of A4 text (at 12 point), and upto 6 images, can be accepted for a 3-page site. If you have more content than this please contact us for a quote - we're very reasonable.
