We have kept this deliberately short and to the point, and, we hope, interesting and useful. Please read it and if you have any queries or suggestions please contact us at
.
Content:
SiteSpinners will not accept material:
Of an "Adult" or pornographic (in our judgement) nature, not even if sent in a plain brown envelope by carrier pigeon.
(Sorry folks, but this little computer would probably overheat and expire!)
Which may be considered racially, ethnically, or religously offensive.
Which is copyright, unless accompanied by written permission for use from the owner of the copyright.
However, please feel free to send us sample material or URLs (web addresses) to indicate the type and style of graphic/photograph/text style that you require and mark it "copyright". We will not copy it as we are inventive, resourceful and intelligent (we hope!) enough to be able to produce original material or find non-copyright, royalty-free material for you.
Privacy:
SiteSpinners will not use your personal details for any purposes except those required for the construction, hosting and registration of your website and domain name(s). The client will be able to exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in respect to the treatment of their personal data. It is our policy to protect your privacy, and we will not divulge your e-mail address, postal address, or telephone numbers to third parties without your express permission and consent, not even if these third parties happen to be beautiful and extremely rich blondes (I prefer redheads, actually).
Liability:
SiteSpinners, while taking care to ensure the accuracy of all material on this site, take no liability for loss or damage stemming from or attributable to the content of this site. This limitation of liability extends to sites created at the request of clients. What this really means is that you should check, double and triple check your site content before it goes up on the web, and not try to blame us afterwards for doing what you told us to do. We'd be a little upset if this should happen and will probably go into a long sulk.
Reservations:
SiteSpinners reserve the right to:
-
Change the pricing policy at any time and without notice.
This will not affect orders already received (whew!).
-
Change these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice.
(Probably when someone tells us we've goofed).
Refunds:
A great deal of time and effort goes into the process of site design, particularly into the initial design stages, and we have therefore adopted a staged payment system - a standard practice in this industry - with an initial up-front payment of 50% before commencement of work and a final payment of the remaining 50% on completion. You will be able to view the design at the completion of the design stage, and to suggest changes, and also on completion of the site when you will have another opportunity for "tweaking" the design. This will be the penultimate stage of proceedings by which time the client (that's you) will have had time to consider his (or her, we have women clients too, you know) decision on acceptance. This staged payment system safeguards you the client and confirms that you are serious about a website, and allows us to develop the site to your requirements. If, after having seen the site incorporating your changes, you are still not satisfied, we will give you a full refund. SiteSpinners, however, will guarantee that the quality of your site will equal or surpass that of the sites shown on our Portfolio page - we have not had any dissatisfied clients to date. On acceptance of the final site we will expect payment for the remaining 50% and will then upload the site or send you the code if you prefer this. We think this is a fair policy which will be acceptable to you, the client. If not, please contact us and tell us why you disagree (preferably on the back of a large cheque).
Release of Site
SiteSpinners will release the client's site, with all code, documents received, and registration documents obtained on behalf of the client, together with passwords and usernames if SiteSpinners obtained these on behalf of the clients, on receipt and clearance of the final payment. The site will then be uploaded to the client's host and become operational. If you consider cheque clearance takes too long and you're just dying to see your site up on the World Wide Web, we'll accept payment in diamonds, gold bullion, or even camels if accompanied by an import licence and vet's certificate of health.
Acceptance
By placing an order for a website with SiteSpinners you are implicitly accepting the above Terms and Conditions.
